If you're based in London and looking for a CBT therapist, all my sessions are online. That means no commute across the city, no waiting rooms, and no fitting an in-person appointment around your schedule. The quality of the work is exactly the same.

WHAT I TREAT

Anxiety takes many forms.

I work with adults dealing with anxiety-related difficulties. Each condition has its own logic, and its own most effective treatment approach. Click through to learn more about any of them.

OCD

The intrusive thoughts, the rituals, the exhausting loop of doubt. OCD is often misunderstood. CBT with ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) is the first-line treatment, and it works.

Health anxiety

The Googling, the checking, the reassurance that never quite sticks. Health anxiety keeps you trapped in a cycle that makes perfect sense, but doesn't make you feel any better. CBT breaks it.

Panic disorder

Panic attacks, avoidance, and the worry something might be seriously wrong. If panic has started to shrink your world, CBT can help you understand what's happening and gradually take it back.

Also dealing with social anxiety, or general anxiety? These are all within my area of specialism. If you're not sure whether what you're experiencing fits a category, that's absolutely fine, get in touch and we can work it out together.

WHY ONLINE THERAPY WORKS FOR LONDON

The commute is a real barrier. Online therapy removes it.

London has no shortage of therapists. But finding one with the right specialism, proper accreditation, and actual availability is harder than it sounds. In-person therapy adds another layer: the travel, the timing, the tube. For a lot of people, that's what stops them from starting.

Online therapy via video call is not a compromise. The research evidence for CBT delivered online is strong, outcomes are equivalent to face-to-face for anxiety and OCD. The only real difference is that you don't have to factor in an hour's travel around your session.

I keep my caseload small. That means your sessions get real attention, not a production line.

The research evidence for online CBT is clear :

Outcomes are equivalent to in-person therapy for anxiety and OCD. The only thing you save is the commute.

WHY ONLINE THERAPY WORKS FOR LONDON

What happens when you reach out

There are no long forms, no referrals, and no waitlist to join. Here's what to expect.

1

Free 15-minute consultation

We have a brief call, no charge, no obligation. You can ask questions, tell me what's going on, and get a sense of whether working together feels right. I'll be honest with you about whether I think I can help.

2

Assessment session

If we both want to go ahead, we start with a assessment (60 minutes) to understand exactly what's going on and what's been keeping it going. This shapes everything that follows.

3

Structured CBT sessions

Sessions are weekly, 60 minutes each, via secure video call. CBT is active and structured, we won't just talk. Most people notice a real shift within 8 to 20 sessions, though this varies by condition and individual.

what happens when you reach out

Sessions are £100. The free consultation has no strings attached, it's a chance to make sure it's the right fit before you commit to anything.

YOUR THERAPIST

BABCP accredited — the UK's gold standard for CBT

I'm Evelynne Rodriguez Scott-McFarlane. I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in CBT at King's College London and hold BABCP accreditation, the professional body for CBT in the UK. Accreditation requires postgraduate training, supervised practice hours, and ongoing continuing professional development. It's worth checking whether any therapist you see holds it.

I also have personal experience of anxiety. I mention it not as a selling point, but because it genuinely shapes how I work; with patience, without judgment, and with a real understanding of how exhausting it is.
